COLLI APRUTINI ROSSO I.G.T.

LIBURNIO

The Liburni belonged to the Illyrian populations of the Adriatic coast of Croatia in the seventh century BC. They were dreaded pirates who invaded our shores, and were subjugated by the Romans in 156 BC. Subsequently, they became integrated to the people of our coasts and became farmers and producers of grapes and wine, providing them the capital city. We found traces of their presence in the area of our company. This is why our wine, the result of a "blend", vinified in the old way, bears a name that recalls the origins of the oldest wine making traditions.
